Join Women's Orchestra of Arizona for 'Enchanted Mesa'
Sunday, April 28, 2024, 3 p.m.
Enjoy an afternoon of classical music by outstanding composers.
The orchestra will perform Enchanted Mesa by Louise Kerr, who was a composer, violinist, founder of a creative center for the arts in Scottsdale, and a philanthropist.
The concert also includes Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, also known as the Pastoral Symphony, inspired by the composer’s love of nature.
Also featured in the concert is the tone poem by Jean Sibelius, Finlandia, regarded as the unofficial national anthem of Finland.
